Stone That Speaks, The Stratton Stone Blog

Simply. Stone.

Our Stone Collections

Choosing stone for your home starts with one question: what feeling do you want your space to have? Each of our three collections has its own personality, and understanding the differences makes your decision a whole lot easier.

Mountain Stack is the modern favorite. Its clean, linear profile stacks tightly with crisp horizontal lines, giving walls a tailored, contemporary look. It's a natural fit for fireplace surrounds in updated living rooms, kitchen accent walls, and modern exterior entries. If your style leans sleek, start here.

Mountain Ledge brings more rugged texture to the table. With varied piece sizes and a rougher, ledge-cut character, it looks like stone pulled straight from a hillside. Mountain Ledge shines on exteriors — foundations, columns, and facades — where you want that solid, established, "been here forever" feel. It's equally at home on a basement fireplace or outdoor kitchen.

Cobblestone is the classic. Rounded, tumbled shapes evoke old-world streets and traditional cottages. It pairs beautifully with farmhouse and traditional architecture, garden walls, and entryways where charm is the goal.

All three collections come in colors developed for Southern homes and landscapes, including Mock Springs, Belfast Gray, and Limestone Creek — ranging from warm, creamy tones to cooler gray blends.

Here's our best advice: don't choose from a photo alone. Stone looks different in morning light than it does at dusk, and different against white siding than red brick. Order samples or visit us in Hawkinsville to see full panels in person. Hold your top two colors against your existing exterior, squint a little, and the right answer usually reveals itself.

Whichever collection you choose, you're getting stone that's prototyped, tested, and built to keep its color and character for decades.
